First Presbyterian Church, like a strong southern oak, has its roots firmly planted in a rich history while its branches extend outward in love and service to God and to others. Our faith in Christ has enabled us to weather many storms together, and that same faith continues to nourish us as we put on new leaves, growing in the Spirit through God's grace. It is my hope that this website will capture the spirit and character which make up First Church. Our common endeavor to worship the living God, our desire to learn God's Word, our love and concern for one another, and our deep commitment to reach out to others with the love of Christ should be evident on the following pages. Indeed, it is our church's people who embody those roots of faith and the new limbs growing toward our future in God's service. Thanks for taking the time to see Who we are all about.
